Time was short, and Zhou Wu didn’t check if his numbers had increased, but first yanked off the man’s shoes.

He put them on, a bit small, but wearable enough.

He got up and crept towards the yard behind the house.

This was a yard of about seventy or eighty square meters, with three thatched huts facing it. A dozen or so men were sprawled on the ground, fast asleep.

Zhou Wu smelled alcohol.

He used to be very familiar with this stuff; he’d lost himself to alcohol.

Even now, the smell had a very familiar quality.

He had sent one more person to be with the heavens.

After waiting for the man to stop breathing, he counted the people in the yard, twelve in total.

This guy’s shoes were bigger, and the clothes fit better.

Zhou Wu crept to another man and silently killed him.

It wasn’t until he’d killed the fourth man that Zhou Wu found clothes and shoes that fit.

The warhorse was tethered outside the shed.

Sensing someone approaching, the horse became agitated, snorting and stamping its hooves.

The movement was too slight, and Zhou Wu immediately stopped, furrowing his brow in thought.

He turned his head and saw a man groggily getting up, staggering towards the stables.

Zhou Wu took a step forward, and with a swing of his long blade, severed the man’s throat.

The strike was decisive, without hesitation.

He was a little pleased inside. This was the mark of a professional killer.

Killing these guys who didn’t treat him like a person, Zhou Wu felt no guilt.

The sound of the man falling wasn’t loud, but it did wake up the others.

At this moment, he heard Liang Nv’s voice coming from the room where the “sacrifices” were kept, knowing she was starting her persuasive routine.

But he still had two important things to do.

One was to kill the horse, and the other was to find enough dry food to survive after escaping.

Zhou Wu took two steps back, creating distance between himself and the horse, letting it calm down.

Then he raised his spear and threw it with force at the warhorse’s chest.

The spear accurately pierced the warhorse’s chest, with a loud neigh, it knocked over the wooden railings of the shed. The horse’s body was held back by the reins, falling to the ground outside the shed, struggling and screaming.

Zhou Wu had already left the yard but was puzzled that no one was running out of the thatched huts to escape.

Wasn’t this Liang Nv supposed to be good at persuading?

Why wasn’t anyone running?

If he was the only one running, these people would quickly identify the killer, and it wouldn’t be good to continue blending in.

Someone shouted and rushed out of the yard entrance, and Zhou Wu, standing beside the gate, casually slashed with his blade.

Zhou Wu was also strange. How could these men look so strong but be made of paper?

What he didn’t know was that his body had undergone brutal training, that he had fought his way through death to survive.

How could these ordinary warriors withstand it?

However, there weren’t many left.

Zhou Wu waited for a while, and seeing that no one was still running out of the thatched huts, he sighed and turned to walk back into the yard.

Since no one was running, no one could be left alive here.

There were two people left in the yard, plus the leader who had just crawled out of bed, dazedly looking around.

Zhou Wu raised his blade and appeared in the yard again. The two men immediately shouted and charged.

Zhou Wu accelerated forward, slamming his shoulder into the saber-wielding man’s chest and abdomen. Amid the sound of bones breaking, the man was sent flying backward.

The long blade in his hand, following the momentum of the charge, casually sliced the short club-wielding man’s neck.

The leading man, still bewildered at the doorway, only blinked, and two of his men had been eliminated.

“Who… who am I?”

The leading man still put on an aloof front, coldly demanding.

Zhou Wu wouldn’t waste words with him, taking a step forward and slashing with his blade.

The leading man was naturally more skilled, but he still couldn’t dodge the lightning-fast blade.

The long blade struck his shoulder, causing him to cry out in pain, clutching his shoulder and staggering back, frantically searching for his weapon.

Zhou Wu charged forward again, stabbing his abdomen with his blade.

A stream of sweet-smelling blood splattered on Zhou Wu’s face and body.

Releasing the hilt, the leading man collapsed on the threshold.

Turning his head to glance at the corpses lying scattered, Zhou Wu felt no great emotion inside.

It was just like seeing them lying there sleeping soundly.

These people hadn’t treated him like a person, so he could only treat them like animals.

He walked quickly into the thatched hut. An oil lamp was lit in a recess in the wall, emitting a dim, yellowish light.

A pile of things was placed on the fire pit in the outer room, including dry food, dried meat, and water and wine pots.

A leather jacket and belt were also thrown aside, with an iron tag hanging on it, with a word written on it.

Zhou Wu didn’t recognize what was written. There was also a scroll of documents, which he had to skip over.

The leader’s long spear and saber were still lying quietly at one end of the fire pit.

This guy was used to being comfortable. Even with such a big commotion, he didn’t even bring his weapon, just ran out to check the situation.

Zhou Wu took a piece of dried meat, took a bite, and chewed slowly.

The special fragrance of the cooked beef stimulated his taste buds, and even the pores on his body were opening.

It was so damn fragrant. How long had it been since he’d eaten meat?

He pulled out something like a wine pot, smelled it, and sure enough, there was a wine fragrance.

Tilting his head back, he took a mouthful. The spicy taste had a hint of sourness, and when it went down his throat, a strong fragrance still lingered on the back of his tongue.

Although this thing wasn’t good, he liked it!

Anyway, he had already killed everyone, so Zhou Wu simply sat cross-legged on the fire pit.

He drank wine and ate dried meat.

He casually laid the saber across his lap, drawing the blade from its black leather sheath.

This blade was the best weapon he had seen in this world.

Of course, except for the Soul Startle Spike, which didn’t look like a weapon.

The blade was bright and sharp, with coldness and sharpness.

The blade was about three feet long. He tapped it with his finger, and it immediately let out a clear dragon’s roar.

“This thing should be worth a lot of money.”

Zhou Wu sighed to himself.

He stretched out comfortably, leaning against a roll of fur bedding, and closed his eyes.

Suddenly, he noticed that the numbers on his forehead had changed to 371.
