The little girl’s piercing scream cut through the night sky. Wu Shuqi and her colleagues, who were on a stakeout, believed the little girl had met with misfortune and suspected Cao Huailiang, the suspect they were tracking.

The situation was indeed as they thought.

The little girl screamed, but fear made her forget the pain. She had “blood phobia.” Seeing blood made her dizzy, nauseous, and her heart palpitate, and then her whole body collapsed limply to the ground.

Thinking this way, he smiled contentedly. His bloodshot eyes flickered with cold, venomous light, like a viper’s forked tongue.

Wasn’t the communication channel between informant Zhou Kang and Wu Shuqi always open? Why didn’t he tell Wu Shuqi that the suspect had left? It turned out that he was squatting in the toilet when the suspect opened the door and didn’t know that his brother-in-law had left.

When his eyes adjusted to the dim light in the room, the landlord saw that these mysterious people were holding white things in their hands. He quickly realized that these might be guns, and he couldn’t help but scream “Ah!” and quickly retreated back into his house. He quickly understood that they might be police officers performing a task. When he thought that a bad person lived in his house, he suddenly felt a chill down his spine.

At this time, Cao Huailiang was located at the corner of the stairs on the second floor.

In fact, he had long realized that the police would find him sooner or later, which was why he decided to leave this place now.

Although he was very flustered, luckily he reacted quickly and stopped himself from saying “The police have already surrounded me,” otherwise the consequences of angering his brother-in-law would be unimaginable.

As he spoke, he tightened his grip on the knife, then grabbed Zhou Kang’s clothes and pulled him hard, causing Zhou Kang to stagger involuntarily.
